Eiji Aonuma, producer of Nintendo’s Zelda series, stated in a Gamespot interview that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds had to be altered for the 2DS. The reason behind these changes is that, originally, some of the puzzles were designed to be solved by using 3D. The UK Nintendo store is finally open, and with the launch comes three exclusive Wii U bundle packs, each priced at £249.99. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon may just be coming to Wii U. Although nothing has been confirmed by Nintendo, the previously 3DS exclusive has been listed on Newegg although none of the information on the page - except for a Wii U box art - really implies this couldn't just be a mistake.

Nintendo have released a system update for the Wii U, and it contains with it what a regularly requested features for the system. You can now use the Wii U gamepad as a TV for Wii games. This is pretty huge for those of us with a back catalogue to get through, and although you still will need to use a Wii remote, it's a step in the right direction.

At a Japanese event not too long ago, there was a video showing the history of the Pokemon franchise.
