Everyone will agree that Far Cry 5 was a bit of an odd release, although it did fit slightly into the political climate in the United States. Still, we know that Ubisoft always likes to mix in a bit of fiction into their somewhat plausible story lines, and with the next bit of DLC, this will be fully realized. Aliens. Aliens are threatening Humankind, and Nick Rye and Hurk will need to battle them off. Who's ready to roam Mars?

When Ubisoft first announced their brand new franchise titled The Crew, perspective fans were painted a picture of cruising across the United States, going from major city to major city, and enjoying everything in between. Console owners were promised a wide variety of cars, a great deep story, and plenty of races and events to take part in. And while Ubisoft delivered on some of those promises, what ultimately landed in the laps of gamers was a half finished racing game which attempted to shoe-horn in a story about murder.

The much anticipated DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle launched today, and fans can now hope into some strategic turn based action using everyone's favourite ape, Donkey Kong. Along for the ride is rabbid Cranky as well, and together, they are ready to find the missing washing machine parts and head back to Peach's castle.

After a strong first year which saw the Nintendo Switch get great support from many third party developers, E3 2018 seems to be signing a very different tune for the remainder of the year, and into 2019. While many games are coming to the system - and a good amount of 3rd party support as well - some of it is not coming soon enough, and some is not coming at all. Nintendo has a successful console on their hands with the Nintendo Switch, there is no doubt about that. But can it survive on it's own franchises unlike its predecessor, the Wii U?

When Justin Farren walked out on stage to show off some of the gameplay you can expect in Skull and Bone, people were understandably blown away. Although cautious optimism swept the theatre and those watching online, the feeling that this could be something special is still quite high!

While we knew it was coming, most people thought Ubisoft would end their show by showing off Beyond Good and Evil 2. Instead, we got an early look at this prequel to the outstanding original title, Beyond Good and Evil. While most details are still hidden in mystery, one major detail was announced today that looks fantastic: using community art, music, and stories within the game itself, thanks to Hit Record, a company owned by Joseph Gordon Levitt.

I've just finally finished getting through Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch, and although it has been the third time I've played it - first on the Nintendo WiiU and later on the Nintendo 3DS - I once again had a really great time. With each subsequent release of the game, more DLC from previous iterations have been added, giving this last release the appropriate title of "definitive edition."
