A few months ago, Ubisoft announced that it would be giving an overhaul treatment to one of the franchises more polarizing experiences, Assassin's Creed III. Set during the American Revolution, the time period was a perfect fit for the franchise, but a number of glitches and game play issues held his title back, leaving a bad taste in the mouth of many. Now, years later, we all get to enjoy a more fully featured and complete version of Assassin's Creed III, and I could not be more excited!

Far Cry is easily one of our favourite franchises here at GamesReviews.com, so naturally we are as excited as anyone else about the prospect of playing Far Cry New Dawn in the next few weeks. Much has been made about the game simply being a clone of Far Cry 5, and while you will trek around the same, things look and feel very differently. If you've been following the website for a number of years now, you'll know that I'm a huge Assassin's Creed fan, and have been since the games original release. The last game in the franchise - Assassin's Creed Origins - topped Black Flag as my favourite Assassin's Creed title to date. With Odyssey on the horizon, Black Flag might tumble to #3 on my list! Everyone will agree that Far Cry 5 was a bit of an odd release, although it did fit slightly into the political climate in the United States. When Ubisoft first announced their brand new franchise titled The Crew, perspective fans were painted a picture of cruising across the United States, going from major city to major city, and enjoying everything in between. Console owners were promised a wide variety of cars, a great deep story, and plenty of races and events to take part in. And while Ubisoft delivered on some of those promises, what ultimately landed in the laps of gamers was a half finished racing game which attempted to shoe-horn in a story about murder.
