Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Teased at E3

Sony Closed out it's 2014 E3 Conference with the first real teaser footage of Uncharted PS4, now titled "A Thief's End". In it, an unconscious and beaten down Nathan Drake (looking absolutely graphically spectacular) wakes up on a riverbank, reloads his gun, and begins to trek once more through the jungle. As he walks, a conversation between him and Victor "Sully" Sullivan, his greatest friend and mentor in thievery, is overheard.

Ratchet and Clank Adventuring to Vita?

All of Sony's main HD trilogies are now available on the Vita, and a lot of the third party collections have made their way across as well. There's one major franchise missing, and it's especially surprising since they've made their way to the console in a separate game already. Ratchet and Clank HD isn't yet available on Sony's latest handheld, but it seems like that might change fairly soon.

Sony Confirmed The Last of Us PS4

Everybody has known about The Last of Us PS4 for, well, quite a while. It was turning up for pre-order in stores at the beginning of the year, and development was confirmed by a senior Sony employee last month. Stores were even accepting pre-orders and offering bonuses. inFamous Second Son Review

When playing inFamous Second Son, I received a deluge of visual satisfaction. Sucker Punch’s third attempt at its superhero series is a great showcase of PlayStation 4’s technical prowess. Particle effects galore, a breathtakingly gorgeous open-world, and great facial animations make Second Son the best looking PS4 game by a mile. But for all of Sucker Punch’s technical advancements, the game’s storytelling failed to meet the same type of improvements.

Sony Hints at new PS4 Features in Online Survey

A PlayStation-focussed survey from Sony seems to hint at some future features that might end up appearing on the PlayStation 4. Many are options that fans have been asking for, so it's nice to see they're paying attention to reaction. There's no reason to think these will pop up in the near future, or at all, but positive replies from those invited to the survey might mean certain things appear sooner than others.

Sony Announces VR Headset: Project Morpheus

Sony took to the stage at GDC this morning to announce the announcement nobody could see coming: a VR headset. Dubbed Project Morpheus, the device has all the bells and whistles you'd expect, and although price has yet to be announced, you ought to start saving now if the list of features is anything to go by. With that said, it'll only be available on the PlayStation 4, so if you don't have Sony's new-gen machine, you'll need to save even more.

PS4 Updated to 1.62

The PlayStation 4 has received another big update today, although that's big as in size, not content. The firmware jump to 1.62 weighs in at over 300MBs, a size that would have encompassed a whole game at one point, but now does little but fixes some software issues. Still, it shouldn't be a big problem for the majority of PS4 owners, and the added stability is never a bad thing.
