If you feel like you're in good company, owning a PlayStation 4, you're probably about right. Sony announced earlier this week that some 4.2 million consoles have been sold to consumers, an absolutely staggering amount considering the device has only been available for less than two months. When you think about the price and limited catalogue, it's hard not to see that Sony has done something right.

There's been a lot of speculation about what Sony will be looking to do with the Cloud, and it seems like they might have been reading an awful lot of what people expect from the service online. It's slightly underwhelming in just how right many of us were about it, but in every other way I'm not sure they could handle it any better. There are a few questions left to be asked - which probably means we won't like the answers - but so far we're impressed.

It would seem that Bioshock Infinite and Persona IV: The Golden might be coming to PlayStation Plus in the near future, or at the very least receive heavy discounts.

The first post-release firmware update has been released for the PlayStation 4, and it's a little underwhelming. While you'd hope the switch to next-gen might encourage Sony to open up a little bit about what's changed between firmware versions, the explanation for 1.52 is simply that it "improves system stability."

Sony have this morning announced that their PlayStation 4 console, launched this past weekend in Europe, has sold 2.1 million units worldwide. That's a record breaker, folks, and it still hasn't released everywhere.

But it's come down to match retail stores (which is to be expected) and now shouldn't be too rough on those virtual wallets.

Sony have revealed the apps that'll be available on the PlayStation 4 when it launches later this week. Those hoping to completely replace their PlayStation 3 will be happy to know that all the major ones are there day one, and that there will be a lot more available to download between now and Spring 2014.
