LEGO Dimensions – LEGO City Fun Pack Review

LEGO City Undercover was an excellent release way back on the Wii U, and got its deserved rerelease on all platforms early this year. Not to lose out on that hype, Travelers Tales has officially launched the LEGO City Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions, bringing Chase McCain and a cast of other characters over to the LEGO Dimensions universe. While this obviously isn't a 1-for-1 remake of the full fledged LEGO City Undercover title, it is a wonderful addition to the Dimensions world, and might even entice those who have yet to play the full Chase McCain adventure, ...

Review of Iron Man Brick Headz Set from LEGO

It is not often I get a LEGO set in the mail and go, "I didn't know this existed!" but that was the case this week when I unboxed a wonderful review box sent over by The Lego Group. Aside from a few Star Wars sets and LEGO Creator sets, The LEGO Group's PR company also sent along two Marvel Brick Headz sets, Iron Man and Hulk. These a pretty solid sets with almost 100 pieces each. I put together the Iron Man figure last night and was incredibly impressed!

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Announced

I loved Lego Marvel Superheroes for the Wii U. The game had tons of Marvel heroes: everyone from Spider-man to the X-men to the Fantastic Four. Of course, the game couldn’t cover ALL of the Marvel heroes. The Guardians of the Galaxy only got a cameo in the game and other characters were missing too. sigh. If only there was a sequel to this game coming out soon. Wait a second…what’s this?! Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 was announced today! We…

After getting all his chores complete and his homework finished, the highlight of my sons evening last night was busting open The Goonies level pack for LEGO Dimensions and putting together the wicked looking minibuilds that come included. Watch the unboxing and build video below, and then read our thoughts on the LEGO portion of this LEGO Dimensions Level Pack!

My LEGO City: Fire

Ever since we received a pre-release copy of LEGO Worlds from the LEGO Group and Warner Bros Entertainment, we’ve been busy constructing a LEGO City on the Xbox One. While playing through LEGO Worlds, it’s made me rethink the (future) LEGO City that will inhabit my basement. Through a series of articles, we will look at various aspects of the LEGO City, some of the sets I have in that theme, and what sets I’m looking to purchase. Today we…

60051 – High Speed Passenger Train

When I look on YouTube at the LEGO cities created by LEGO fanatics, I never consider a city complete without some type of train system. I felt the exact same way about my own city setup, so over the holidays last year I decided to rectify that problem and purchase - actually received as a gift! - the High Speed Passenger Train. With a bit of extra Christmas money, I also bought a few extra boxes of tracks, including LEGO's somewhat new flex-track. Of all the trains available from LEGO, the High Speed Passenger Train is definitely the least impressive, but is ...

71006 – LEGO Simpson’s House

Whether you love the Simpsons or hate the Simpson's, there is no denying that the LEGO Group made a wise decision partnering with them to release a series of Simpson's inspired sets. The set we are looking at today is the Simpson's House, a costly but satisfying build that is a must for any LEGO fan, regardless of their appreciation for the Simpson's.

LEGO City Undercover Rerelease Is Too Fun to Pass On

When we first looked at LEGO City Undercover in 2013, we called it one of LEGO's best games ever, especially since, unlike other LEGO franchises - it didn't actually have any source material. It couldn't bank on the Harry Potter or Star Wars names; it had to stand on it's own, really only using the LEGO City licence to attract potential players. With a limited release - on the now proven failed Wii U experiment by Nintendo - LEGO City Undercover was a game that not a lot of people got to play, which is incredibly unfortunate. The game, while spectacular at ...

Lego City Undercover Is Now Available For Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC

Lego City Undercover, a former Wii U exclusive game, is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In other words, you’ll be able to join Chase’s mission to track down Rex Fury no matter what system (or PC) you own! I was a huge fan of Lego City Undercover on the Wii U. Not only does the game have a huge city for players to explore, but there’s tons of costumes, vehicles, and more to…

Lego City Undercover Goes Multiplatform in April

Lego City Undercover is one of my favorite games on the Wii U. The game is a lot of fun. It was also an exclusive game for the system for a long time. But soon, non-Wii U players will get a chance to check out the game. Lego City Undercover will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in April. We have a new trailer for the game below and more details about the multiplatform…
