The unique LEGO Minifigure series releases have always been intriguing to me. While I am not the biggest fan of the regular minifigure collections, I've thoroughly enjoyed collecting two LEGO Simpsons series' and the LEGO Batman Movie series. Beginning today - August 1st - Ninjago fans can finally get their hands on a set of minifigures unique to the LEGO Ninjago universe.

Recently, I found a number of Ninjago sets on clearance at my local Walmart, and was able to pick up Set 70594 The Lighthouse Siege for a mere $40! Obviously, for 40 dollars it wasn't hard to go wrong on this 700+ piece set, but even at it's full retail price of 89.99, I think there is great value here, both in terms of build quality and play ability!

The 3-in-1 LEGO Creator sets are some of my favorite sets the LEGO Group has ever released. The ability to put 3 sets in one box was a wonderful new addition to the LEGO line up when it was introduced a number of years ago. These sets offer variety, many rebuild options, and hours of play, and are generally priced very well. If you have a big passion for LEGO, you are more than likely familiar with the (very expensive) LEGO Minifigure collections. Since LEGO began launching these blind bag collect them all series, over 100 minifigures have been released, and hardcore collectors are nabbing them up quickly. In some situations, finding these figures can be incredibly difficult, which can be both frustrating and somewhat exhilarating, all at the same time.

The LEGO Star Wars theme has remained one of LEGO's most important thanks to new movies and TV shows that keep all the characters - both past and present - at the forefront of young and old minds alike. It seems as if LEGO is launching new Star Wars sets on a weekly basis, and for the most part, they are fantastic sets to put together. About a week ago, we reviewed our first ever LEGO Brick Headz set here on GamesReviews.com and gave it a very favourable review. Not only does the figure look good on display, but the box artwork also adds to the aesthetic of having these sets on my desk at work. I get many compliments about them, and find myself referring people more and more often to the nearest toy store to grab their own. Like the Iron Man set, Hulk also comes with many hard-to-find pieces, making the 9.99 investment incredibly worth it.

Through various levels, the developers behind LEGO Dimensions have done an excellent job recreating the Goonies movie in LEGO form, allowing you to play as various Goonies and the main man Sloth, as you finish the adventure, collect red bricks, and explore every inch of the world.
