I love story focused mystery games. I have massive playlists on YouTube for Famicom Detective Club, so obviously when I saw Path of Mystery: A Brush with Death, I had to give the game a go! You can watch the entire prologue below!

Path of Mystery is a very old school-like Japanese adventure game. If you enjoyed Famicom Adventure Club, then you’ll like this game. If not, well, then this isn’t going to be your game. Its definitely an acquired taste but we’re happy that games like this are still being made!
As Daniel noted in his review, this game is much more about the story you are unfolding as opposed to the game you are playing; in fact, this game is pretty light on gameplay, so if you are expecting something really in-depth, this probably isn’t for you!
