You’re new to Far Cry 6, to the Far Cry series or to video games entirely. There’s a huge island to explore and strange people trying to kill you. Where do you go? What do you do? Far Cry 6 Features – OCD Players Beware

Far Cry 6 has been one of my favourite games this year - I've enjoyed the story, how it unfolds, and the cool people you meet along the way. These are all staples of the Far Cry franchise, and most open world Ubisoft franchises for that matter. But the more I play Far Cry 6, the more I became concerned. "I'm not clearing the map! WHY AM I NOT CLEARING THE MAP!"

Far Cry 6 Features – Using a Smart Phone in Far Cry 6

Is 2021, and Far Cry 6 is helping us do what we already do in real life all the time - play on our phones, a lot. In previous Far Cry games, we often would use a set of binoculars to scout out enemy bases, tagging enemies, and more. That made a ton of sense, and was enjoyable enough of an experience. While I'm happy that the new tagging system highlights the weaknesses of enemies, I'm having a bit of difficulty extending my belief to tagging using a camera on a cell phone.

Far Cry 6 Review

Far Cry 6 is finally upon us, after some delays and a huge marketing campaign that you basically can't escape, it is time to step into the land of Yara and go toe to toe with Anton Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). As a fan of the Far Cry series for quite some time, I was eager to dive into a full game again after Far Cry 5. New Hope was ok at best but wasn't the full experience I was craving or looking for. Far Cry 6, however, is BIGGER, BOLDER, and BADDER than it has ever been.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania Review (Nintendo Switch) – Video

Thanks to our friends at SEGA, we were able to play and review Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania on Nintendo Switch. This title is a remake of the 2005 title Super Monkey Ball DX, which itself was a compilation of Super Monkey Ball 1 and Super Monkey Ball 2. But does this bundle of nostalgia live up to my childhood hype? Let's take a look!

Bluepoint is an Odd Sony Purchase

In a way Bluepoint makes perfect sense as a Sony purchase. But beyond the surface, it brings up questions about just where the studio will go from here. Best know for remakes and remasters, Bluepoint doesn’t really have an identity of its own. The work it does is incredible – the Metal Gear Solid Collection on Xbox Series X is the only way to play. The Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus games were perfect. And, indeed, they have…

RiMS Racing Review

I’ve never played a racing game like RiMS Racing, and its core unique mechanic is both the thing that makes the game stand out, and is also the thing that sometimes make the game tedious to progress through. RiMS Racing is the newest motorcycle racing sim from French publisher Nacon and first-time developer RaceWard, from Italy. The core concept of the game is that it’s part racing sim, part mechanic sim. Instead of earning more advanced bikes during the game,…

FIFA 22 Comes with Balanced, Slower Play

FIFA 21 has been characterized by many as a goal fest, where trick mastery meant filling the net, and solid positional play meant...well, sometimes never being rewarded for playing soccer the way it's done in the pros. But with a few gameplay updates to FIFA 22, goal fest is over, and a more balanced experience is shinning through, one that emphasizes positional play and crisp, accurate passing, as opposed to flipping balls over people's heads, nutmegging them, and more.
