One of the next-gen features I’m most excited about is the near nonexistent load times. Not that current load times have bothered me all that much, but it will be nice to have a more immersive experience. However, these frequently touted load times have not been showcased less than two weeks from release. Until a recently leaked video, that is.

I've been exploring the streets of London thanks to Ubisoft Canada, and while Kevin Austin has been focusing on our review of the title, I've been putting my energy into some supplementary articles. One of the biggest questions I had going into Watch Dogs: Legion, and one I think I've finally answered, is "does Watch Dogs: Legion miss having a singular protagonist?" Let's dive in.

As the world awaits the release of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, SteelSeries is already getting ahead of the game with the release of the Arctis 7P & 7X headsets, designed to work seamlessly with the next-gen consoles. Although Watch Dogs Legions is coming out at the end of October, it's close enough to the launch dates for Xbox Series X / Series S and PS5 to be considered a launch title - to be fair, it is a launch title officially, although not a 'new' launch title. Ubisoft loves to deliver great content for fans, but it's not often we get two mega titles so closely to each other. With Watch Dogs launching on October 29th, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla launching on November 10th, next generation launch week has Ubisoft written all over it.

Supposedly leaked art for a canceled Superman game has revealed its villain could have been Bizarro. Rocksteady were working on a Superman game after finishing Arkham Knight, but it got canned by Warner Brothers. Some controversial comments about the PlayStation 5 led to some unfair attacks on legendary game developer David Jaffe – and to the God of War creator defending himself. Amazon UK stopped taking pre-orders for PlayStation 5 consoles in less than half an hour. Pre-orders went live at about 9.05am and the device was removed from searches on the website by 9.30am. The website currently reads: “We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.” Some reported issues before pre-orders were closed.
