Nintendo Confident in Pokémon Pokopia – My Takeaways from Nintendo Treehouse: Live

If there is one thing Nintendo showed me during the Nintendo Treehouse: Live event on February 24th it wasn’t just all the great stuff coming to Pokémon Pokopia; it was that Nintendo is incredibly proud of what they have created, and confident it’s going to resonate with Pokémon and Nintendo Switch fans. Nintendo spent a long time looking at Pokémon Pokopia, and I find they only do this when they know they have something REALLY special. This goes hand-in-hand with…

Tea Garden Board Game Review

Tea Garden has been on my list of games to play ever since I saw it at GenCon 2025, and so I was quite thrilled when Capstone Games sent over a copy of the game for us to review. We’ve already taken a look at the components of the game, which we thought were quite impressive outside of a few minor things. Good components don’t make a game good, though, so let’s dive in and see what i think of…

Two Point Museum: Zooseum DLC Review (Nintendo Switch 2)

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Two Point Museum is getting updates slightly later than it’s PlayStation, Xbox and PC counterparts, but as I have said many times before: even if the performance is slightly worse and the graphics not quite as sharp, I’d still rather play on Nintendo Switch 2. Last week, the Two Point Museum: Zooseum DLC launched on the console, bringing a ton of new stuff to your museums. Let’s see if it was worth the 14.99…

Pondscape Board Game Review

When Pondscape from Capestone games first arrived for review, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m generally not the biggest fan of small box card based games because I feel like the experience you get in most of them is over before it even begins. Pondscapes, however, was the ultimate “don’t judge a book by its cover” experience for me. There is a ton of game packed into this little box, and I’m here to tell you why it deserves…

Tea Garden Components Overview and Impressions

Tea Garden has intrigued me ever since it was announced, and last week Capstone Games sent over a copy of the game for us to review! As always, we want to review the games components and let you know whether the quality is! There is a lot of cardboard to punch here, including dozens of little tea leaves. I was concerned at first looking at them, but as I began punching I was really impressed. These came out of the…

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – Trick Taking Game

Last year we received The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Trick Taking Game, and praised the game for its amazing story telling, incredible theme, and gorgeous artwork. While it is a play on The Crew, it’s a must own and play for Lord of the Rings fans; as we noted in our review, though, if you aren’t a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic saga, this probably isn’t for you. With the release of The Two…
