Why Gravitrax Makes a Great Holiday Gift
We’ve only focused on a few major toy brands over the past year, namely LEGO and Playmobil, but there is one toy we reviewed a few years ago that continues to impress my kids month in and month out. Gravitrax is the marble building toy of your dreams, and whether you are six years old, or sixty years old, there is a ton to love about Gravitrax.

The toy itself is easy to use and functional for all ages. My youngest kids can build marble tracks for hours, and while their design will work in the end, they are pretty simplistic. Over the years, Ravensburger has released news sets, cool items, and more, so creating really elaborate Gravitrax courses is very possible. I’m not the most creative person in the world, but even I’ve managed to build some pretty cool tracks over the years.
What impresses me the most about this toy, however, is how it’s never left our house. My kids get a load of toys throughout the year, whether because of reviews, gifts for holidays, or for their birthdays. And they always have fun with whatever enters the house, but at some point, most of those toys suffer one of two fates: they either get broken from use, or they are donated and/or sold. Not Gravitrax. I still have the original box that Ravensburger sent over so many years ago, and we’ve recieved a few other big boxes from them since.
What makes me even more firm in my opinions of Gravitrax is that I’ve purchased this myself as well. This isn’t some sponsored post. Ravensburger might have sent me a few Gravitrax sets over the years, but they’ve never sent me a dollar. I, however, have given them plenty over the years. Whether I’m purchasing hammers, lifts, or even little trampolines, we continue to add to our Gravitrax collection.
And guess what! They have Star Wars Gravitrax as well, which is basically just regular Gravitrax with a skin. Still, it’s pretty cool, and my kids really enjoy it. If you want one of the best toys in the last decade or so, pick this up. You won’t be disappointed!
