Sony's turn tonight, so lets dive into what was shown! We heard that they would be focusing on four games and be doing things a bit differently this year. And, well, it was different for sure. Here are my thoughts on Playstation's E3 2018 conference.

Detroit: Become Human Review

Just last month, Sony and Santa Monica Studios wow'd us with the release of God of War, a reboot of the popular franchise on modern consoles that not only surpassed review expectations, but smashed sales records as well. To think that Sony could release another mega hit the next month was probably a pipe dream for many PlayStation owners, but I'm here to tell you they delivered. Detroit: Become Human is another phenomenal game on this generations best selling console, and for good reason: everyone experiences the game differently!

More Thoughts From Me #117: Tiny LittleBigPlanet

My dad got a PSP a while back. He has been playing a lot of games on it. And when I found out there was a LittleBigPlanet for the PSP, he told me to get it (I’m a big fan of the series). So I got it and I have been borrowing his system to play it. How is LittleBigPlanet PSP? Has it been fun playing this series again? LittleBigPlanet for the PSP is a neat game. I won’t say…

God of War Review

Outside of Telltale titles were the story is king and gameplay is secondary, there are few games available today that blend both well, at the same time. God of War has done this, has blown my mind, and is definitely an early candidate for Game of the Year. With characters you will care about, a story that is interesting throughout, and a combat system - although it takes time to master - that is a lot of fun, there is little bad to say about this years best video game experience.

MLB The Show 18 Review

MLB The Show 18 is breaking any major new ground in their year-to-year baseball outing, but does slightly build on The Show 17 in enough ways to make picking up the latest iteration money well spent. While the new features brought into the game are mostly cosmetic, upping the games presentation, they do add value that will be important for those who likely pick up each iteration anyways. Those looking for a few causal rounds of baseball can probably pass on this years installment, but be warned: you'll miss out on one of the most realistic baseball ...

PDP Getting Everyone On Board With Pixel Pals

When you look across Performance Design Products list of Pixel Pals, one thing should immediately strike you: how many difference franchises the company has been able to work with, bringing their figures to pixel form. From DC to Marvel, and from Nintendo to Sony, everyone seems to be getting on board with the wonderfully crafted, light up collectibles. They have been, and still remain, a very hot collectible. Shadow of the Colossus Review

Shadow of the Colossus is one of those must play experiences, regardless of your platform preference, but trying to get someone to go back to their PS2 - or try to even find a PS2 plus a copy of the game - can be a bit challenging. It truly is one of those titles that you regret was never remade for modern machines; that was until recently, however, when Sony announced that Shadow of the Colossus was getting remade from the ground up for the PS4. I've had the opportunity to play that over the last week or so, and it's truly been one of my favourite titles on ...

Gran Turismo Sport Review

The Gran Turismo series has been spinning out on the track lately, so Polyphony Digital receded to the shadows to work on the next great racing experience, Gran Turismo Sport. For what this title lacks in content, it more than makes up for in game mechanics, and with a host of racing games available this year on the market, from a new entry in the Forza series to the second iteration of Project Cars, Gran Turismo works hard to stand out from the rest. Is it successful? Read on and see what we think!

Evil Within 2 Review

I've never been one to excitedly wait for a horror/thriller title on console, but Evil Within 2 might make me rethink that position. Despite my reservations about horror games in general - very predictable, and often doesn't have the same shock value as a movies - Evil Within 2 gave me enough spine crawling, freight endusing moments, mixed in with some great open world mechanics, to deliver on what is one of the better horror/thriller titles to date on console. Despite my distaste for the genre, I simply couldn't put Evil Within 2 down until I had beaten it!
