With 2014 came the announcement of SEGAs' newest installment into the Sonic franchise: Sonic Boom. Whether you think it looks like a good idea or another terrible move, one thing can be said for sure: Sonic Boom has caught our attention.

Sonic Dash has been an iOS must-have since it was released, and it's taken far too long for it to come to Android. It's now available though, and is free-to-play from the Google Play store in the US right now.

The ERSB have released their rating for upcoming Wii U exclusive Sonic Lost World, and it's almost surprising what they found. Although it still managed to get a 10+ E for Everyone rating, it's in the description that things seem to take a turn for the more adult. While some of these phrases might not have batted an eyelid in a kid's product thirty years ago (and even then, it'd be pushing it), by today's standards they're positively vulgar.

SEGA, in a new trailer unveiled yesterday, have announced that Sonic: Lost World for the Wii U and 3DS will have shape-shifting power-ups, not entirely unlike Sonic Colors for the Wii. These new powers allow him to transform into a bird, into a musical note, and into the drill that first made its appearance in Colors. This will cause mixed reaction amongst fans, as some (those who didn't play it, mainly) weren't impressed by this particular feature.
