Internet users everywhere are attempting to play the BAWSAQ, Grand Theft Auto V's Social Club-linked stock market. They hope to do this by buying cheap stocks in their millions, causing the value of them to go up and big profits all around.

A poll of people who bought Grand Theft Auto V has revealed that 14% of those buying Grand Theft Auto V actually bought two copies, with the number one reason for that being that they just couldn't wait until their online pre-order arrived in the post. 52% of those polled had pre-ordered online.

Grand Theft Auto V is a definite success - as if anybody expected otherwise - with the best part of a billion dollar's worth of games sold in only a single day. The exact number is closer to $800 million, and it's the biggest launch for both publisher Take-Two and within the Grand Theft Auto series itself.

Although it's early days yet and this is subject to change over the coming days, weeks and months, Grand Theft Auto V is currently the highest rated game this generation on Xbox 360, matched only by Grand Theft Auto IV. On PS3, it is the second best game, beat by its predecessor.

It’s only a few days until Grand Theft Auto V is released on the world, and people are hungry to get their mitts on it.
