When Ubisoft first announced their brand new franchise titled The Crew, perspective fans were painted a picture of cruising across the United States, going from major city to major city, and enjoying everything in between. Console owners were promised a wide variety of cars, a great deep story, and plenty of races and events to take part in. And while Ubisoft delivered on some of those promises, what ultimately landed in the laps of gamers was a half finished racing game which attempted to shoe-horn in a story about murder.

E3 2018 is over. That's it folks. It went by so fast! And I have a lot of mixed feeling about this E3. I'll get into that, plus who I thought won E3 and what my favorite games were. Lets get to it. Final E3 column of the year!

There isn't anything quite like getting behind the wheel of a fast car and hitting the track, and although many people don't enjoy simulation racing titles - myself included, for the record - there is still something really appealing about loading up a Forza Motorsport title for the first time. Although my early moments in Forza were not everything I hoped they would be, there is definitely a strong challenge here that I'm more than willing to master! Forza 7 is not a game you want to miss!

Project Cars was a very ambitious title from Bandai Namco a few years ago, and while the aspirations and resources were there, the game fell a bit flat when you compared it to its direct competitors, including the Forza series. Everyone who played Project Cars - myself included - knew there was something there that just needed a bit more work, and thankfully, the developers stuck with it and just recently gave us Project Cars 2. The sequel builds on the original in many ways, making it perhaps the best simulation racing title available on the market.

When Rocket League was announced for the Nintendo Switch, a lot of people were excited for it. I had never heard of the game before. Now that I know what it is, I am a bit skeptical that I’d like it. Need for Speed Payback was announced this week via a reveal trailer. We have the video, plus my impressions of the game.
