When it comes to city builders on consoles, the results are generally poor. Even if the game is rock solid, the controls don't often translate well to controllers. These are games primarily built for a mouse and keyboard. Is 2021, and Far Cry 6 is helping us do what we already do in real life all the time - play on our phones, a lot. In previous Far Cry games, we often would use a set of binoculars to scout out enemy bases, tagging enemies, and more. That made a ton of sense, and was enjoyable enough of an experience. While I'm happy that the new tagging system highlights the weaknesses of enemies, I'm having a bit of difficulty extending my belief to tagging using a camera on a cell phone.

Outriders is a very interesting experiment and take on multiplayer gaming, while not a game as a service it would be interesting to see if they offer anything beyond the campaign down the line because there is nothing there to drive me to get better loot or return to the game outside of creating a new character of a different class.
