Pokemon is one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises. There are a ton of Pokemon games and spinoffs coming out all the time. Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon will not be a game that every 3DS or Pokemon fan will like, but that doesn't mean it does not have some redeeming qualities. Individuals who have been turned off by previous Mystery Dungeon titles will not be won over with this latest installment. The core game play mechanics have not been overhauled much from previous titles, but the inclusion of 20 Pokemon to select as a starter, and the ability to interact with all 720 Pokemon - including legionaries - should make fans of the franchise ready to tackle and more mystery dungeons.

We have had a wonderful relationship with Nintendo for well over a year now. They are great at answering questions, inviting us to events, and providing us with copies of games for review. Certain games are either free-to-play, meaning we don't need to wait for a review copy, or Nintendo simply doesn't have copies available for certain things.

Nintendo have today announced Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, a set of remakes for both the 2DS and 3DS. There's been a lot of hints in recent months that new and fresh versions of the GBA classics would be on their way - including references in Pokemon X and Y - but it's great to see that it's finally official.

April Fools Day always provides a number of fun Internet gags. One of the most high profile jokes this year was from Google, and it involved Pokemon. Using Google Maps, players could search for all original 150 Pokemon and become a Pokemon Master. They even went as far as to 'promise' a position in the company for anybody that could Catch 'em all. Although the job was a farce, the game was real and playable. This prank from Google made me think about where Pokemon is at and where it is going.

The new generation is definitely here now, and for Nintendo it's been almost 18 months since they released their latest device, the Wii U (and even longer since the 3DS came out). Perhaps it's no surprise then that the house of Mario is shutting down their online services from last-gen. With almost no expections, the Wii and DS are now offline consoles.

Pokemon X and Y have been out for a short while now, and it's no secret that the Poke-freaks out there have already managed to get through to the end. There's no doubt whatsoever that these people would consume every single piece of Pokemon content going, so it only makes sense that there would be DLC for X and Y, right?
