Nintendo of America announced today that they will be lowering the price of the 2DS and they announced two new 2DS/3DS games for later this year. Check out the news and my thoughts about it below! Nintendo will be lowering the price of the 2DS to $79.99 in North America. The new price will take effect on May 20th. The 2DS was already the least expensive Nintendo product at $99.99. This new price drop will most likely give the 2DS…

More Thoughts From Me #16: A Whole Lot of Disney
I’m a Disney fan. I won’t claim that I like everything Disney does, but I like a bunch of what they do. And one of my favorite things they did was with Square Enix. I’m talking about Kingdom Hearts of course. Specifically I’m talking about Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. If you ever want to play a love letter to Disney fans, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are for you! Lets take a trip down Disney memory lane. There is…

Disney Infinity 3.0 after 60 Minutes
For the longest time, I often would determine my level of interest in a game after sixty minutes. Growing up, I rented a lot of video games, all of which had to pass the sixty minute test before I would buy it from the store. As a reviewer, I technically can't have a sixty minute barometer - I must review the entire game. However, I often still use my sixty minute rule, even if I plan to play the whole game. With the release of Disney Infinity, the the almost impossible ability to adequately review everything in one 'review,' I've decided to share my thoughts ...

The footage is from a Japanese demo, showing off Sora, Donald and Goofy as the fight bad guys in this action RPG. Visually, it looks pretty good, with updated, smooth textures and animations that capture the Disney look-and-feel of the franchise. It seems to feature the same gameplay that…

Castle of Illusion PC is a Terrible Port, Community Fixes (Almost) Everything
The PC version of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, SEGA's re-release of the classic Disney-inspired Genesis/Megadrive platformer, is locked at 30FPS. This puts it on par with the console version, but fans who were holding out for smoother animations are very disappointed.

Were Just Cause Devs Working on an Iron Man Game?
A new rumour is floating around that Avalanche Studios, the developers behind Just Cause 2, may have been working on an Iron Man game. The title has since been cancelled, and perhaps if you consider the potential scale of that, you might just understand why. The rumour was started late last year (check the bottom post) when a job posting announced that they were looking for people to work on three AAA projects based on major IP. These were thought…
