And trust me, you’ll die a lot.
The game thrives on unpredictability. Every maze is procedurally generated, so no two runs feel the same. You’re scrambling for scraps of cheese, dodging traps, and outsmarting cybernetic hunters while managing scarce resources. Between runs, you unlock new rat types—zombie rats, cyborg rats, mutants—and permanent upgrades that give you a fighting chance. It’s a clever system that keeps you coming back for “just one more run.”
Visually, Cyber Rats is a strange mix of cyberpunk and body horror. The corridors are dimly lit, bathed in flickering neon, and filled with grotesque biomechanical details.
