Top 5 Nintendo Switch Games of 2025
Its almost time for Black Friday and for Christmas. And so now its time for us to share five games that we think everyone should have for their Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Let’s count them down.
Black Friday will be soon and then Christmas. If you haven’t gotten your holiday shopping started yet, we have here a list of five games for the Switch and Switch 2 that you should consider.
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment: The newest game in the Hyrule Warriors series is out now. Adam Roffel said in his review that it performed better than the previous two games and “If you are looking to dive into more The Legend of Zelda content, Age of Imprisonment is one worth investing time into.” He gave it an 8 out of 10. If you love Zelda, this is the game to get for Xmas!
- Kirby Air Riders: Adam Roffel reviewed Kirby Air Riders and called it “the Smash Bros of racing games!” He rated it an 8.5 too. The game looks like a lot of fun. If you enjoy racing games, Smash Bros and Kirby, we highly recommend it.
- Dragon Quest 1+2: Square Enix has been on a roll this year and their best game yet for 2025 is Dragon Quest 1+2. You get two games with this collection! We rate it a 9.0. These are wonderful remakes and perfect for rpg fans!
- Hello Kitty Island Adventure: One of the best simulation games out there. We rated it a 9.5 and that was before it got paid DLC and now a Switch 2 upgrade. Hello Kitty keeps getting better and better. There’s even a physical version of it out now for those who prefer that over digital. This is the perfect time to get Hello Kitty Island Adventure!
- Donkey Kong Bananza: If you a Nintendo Switch 2, Donkey Kong Bananza is a must play game. Adam Roffel gave it a 10 out of 10 in his review and I completely agree. This is a fantastic game! Also the new Emerald Rush DLC has made it even better, adding in a new challenge to play post-game and a new little area to visit. We highly recommend this game. Its our number 1 holiday pick.
