007 First Light State of Play (video)

There was a brand new State of Play today and it featured 007 First Light. Take a look at the footage and then our thoughts on this new James Bond game.

007 First Light comes out March 27th, 2026. It features a young James Bond on very early missions. The gameplay feels like a bit o Hitman and games like Splinter Cell and Uncarted. There’s a lot of stealth but also you find yourself in massive gunfights too.

Bond has cool gadgets like a laser and smoke cover to help him on his mission. He can also hide behind things and grade his enemy. We’ve seen a lot of these moves before but 007 First Light looks like its going to be a ton of fun with smooth graphics, gameplay, and a killer sound effects/soundtrack. The voice acting sounded really good too.

You can also get into a high-speed car chase and that looked like a ton of fun. The part with the airplane reminded us a lot of Mission Impossible.
