Rockstar may not have been on stage at E3 but they still made sure to leave their mark. During the announcement of the custom GTAV-branded Pulse Elite Headset for PS3 a slideshow of images could be seen over Jack Tretton's shoulder. Thankfully Rockstar were thoughtful enough to officially release the images a couple days later on their site.

At the Microsoft Press Conference on Monday a male and female MS representative took to the stage to demonstrate Killer Instinct. As the round of virtual fighting got underway the male quickly dominated the match landing every blow and giving the woman little chance to respond to the onslaught. Their fight-talk (which in my opinion seemed rehearsed) quickly escalated and near the end of the round and close to defeat the woman...

Quite possibly the most requested sequel has finally been confirmed along with a stunning trailer. It has been rumoured for the past few weeks that Mirrors Edge 2 was in development and now it's a reality.

Double Helix Games revealed Killer Instinct 3 at E3 today. The live demostration showed returning characters Jago, Sabrewolf and Glasius fighting it out in stunning HD graphics.

The new Dead Rising 3 was revealed at E3 today and with it comes much anticipation. For the first time ever players can now freeroam an open world while fending off hordes of zombies.

A new exclusive title for Xbox One was announced at E3 titled Quantum Break. Created by developers Remedy this action/adventure title looks like it may just be one to watch in terms of new IPs.

After an awkwardly long wait on stage the new trailer for EA's Battlefield 4 finally got shown at E3 earlier. EA promises a stable 60fps and timed exclusivity of future DLC for the Xbox One.

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for one of the most anticipated games of the year, Watchdogs. The trailer was released mere hours before it was set to be shown at E3 in LA.

Very quite on releases for the following 7 days, possibly due to E3 taking all the limelight this week. The Last Of Us keeps the 'quality over quantity' phrase alive though.

While not directly mentioning Xbox One's Kinect, the angle at which the picture was taken -under the tv, pointed at the sofa, same height as the coffee table- does look like the view you would see from a Kinect camera.

A countdown timer has been added to the Official Playstation site counting down to when the tech giant takes to the stage at this year's E3. The conference is set to begin at 6pm local time (Los Angeles) on Monday evening. Those of you in Europe will need to stay up late to watch the show. 2am in UK/Ireland or 3am in Central Europe.

All good things must come to an end and the same is true for online gaming for certain titles. As games get older and hype dies down it's inevitable the multiplayer will be abandoned too. Sony released a list of games today that will have their servers shut down, effectively removing the online functionalities for said games.

Microsoft's official Dutch Windows Facebook page made quite a blunder earlier today when they posted an image featuring 4 games and asked followers to name each of them. Let's give it a go shall we?

June 11th will mark the release of the Wikipad in America, a portable gaming system specially designed for playing Android type games. At present this is a US only release date and no word yet on when we can expect the system in Europe.
