Apogee Software have discovered the Blake Stone source code and are releasing it to fans. Blake Stone: Planet Strike was a 1994 FPS from around the same time as Doom. Nearly twenty years after its release, the source code (which was presumed missing) will allow fans to look into how Blake Stone was built.

Final Fantasy VII is a classic. Its story, its score, its mechanics - for many this was the game that defined what RPGs should be. With another re-release, this time on Steam, Square Enix proves time is no barrier to a decent game, although a little polish might serve to get rid of the dust.

Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is an arena shooter not entirely unlike Unreal Tournament or Quake. It's a corner of the FPS genre that's been ignored in mainstream shooters for the vast majority of this generation, with the exception of Unreal Tournament 3, which VGChartz tells me only sold around a million units on consoles, and Serious Sam, a franchise which has evened out at around the 60-70 mark on Metacritic.

A Wii U Emulator has been released, allowing people to play Wii U games from their PC. The Wii U Emulator seems to work, although we don't recommend it.

According to the latest issue of Jump, the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Collection comes with a brand new 30 minute episode. Grand Theft Auto 5 will require a mandatory installation when it’s released later this year, it has today been revealed. Grand Theft Auto installation on Xbox 360 will require two disks, although Rockstar have done it in the best way possible though. On your initial play, you’ll put your first disk into the machine and it’ll install everything needed. From then on, you’ll only ever need the first disk if you plan to delete those files ...
