When a decent game gets a bad grade: RBI Baseball 15
I just recently received a code for R.B.I. Baseball 15 on Xbox One. The game is not great, but it definetly deserves better than the current mid 50s score it has on Metacritic. Big sites like IGN and Gamespot have given R.B.I. Baseball 15 a near failing grade, citing that MLB The Show is a much better baseball experience.

Story of Seasons Diary 3.1: Autumn
My farm in Story of Seasons continues to be prosperous, and I figured I would post a short update on what has been going on in Autumn Year 1. I've planted new crops, grown my flock of chickens, and invested in fish hacheries. So far, it has been a great season.

Can One Amazing Game Ruin Another Amazing Game
I firmly believe that one outstanding game can ruin another outstanding game, especially when talking about games that require a significant time investment. Few indie titles get missed because they are generally shorter. Thankfully, if two 'big' indie games launch in the same week they are short enough for me to enjoy both.

A Large Collection: Disney Infinity: What do you have?
"Toys, toys, I love toys" was a five word chant I would say as I marched around the house with my one and a half year old son because of all of the toys he had accumulated. I am very much to blame for it as I collected all of them and then his interest grew even more the older he got. As we continued to collect Disney Infinity toys he would continue to keep up the chant and march around the house.

A-Train City Simulators brings back memories
While graphically I would take the PC graphics of Transportation Tycoon Deluxe, A-Train City Simulator provides an equally satisfying experience, and it is available on 3DS which means it is portable. I've only played for a few hours, and am still trying to make my way through the tutorial, but I've enjoyed what I have played so far.

Yarn Yoshi amiibo Priced higher in UK
Yarn Yoshi amiibo have gone up for preorder at retailers across the UK, and amiibo hunters may - or may not - be surprised at another price increase. At what point is price too high? For these particular figures, I'm not sure there is a price that is "too much."

Story of Seasons Diary: Year 1 Summer 1
Story of Seasons gets better and better. A lot of great things happened in Summer Year 1 which just added to my excitement for this game. I had new crops to plant, new routines to follow, and new traders available. Summer Year 1 was very successful for myself, and my farm did really well.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D Review
Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii was an underappreciated late-comer to the console. Very few people played it, yet those that did were very vocal about it: the looks of the game, how big it was, and how mainstream it could be, despite falling into the JRPG category. When Monolith Soft announced a remake of this beloved title on the New 3DS - first exclusive to the New handheld - fans began to get excited, and some even purchased the New 3DS just for this.

Shiftlings Review
Shiftlings is a platform game developed by Rock Pocket that follows two alien janitors. The janitors are part of a reality tv show, attached by an air supply hose and a whole lot of gas. The opening sequence shows one of the janitors finding a fizzy drink and downing it causing all the farting throughout the rest of the game.

Family and Gaming: The Ideal PS4 Headset
Playing games while your kids are sleeping is a delicate balance between having your game audio on and still being able to hear your children who may be sleeping way across the house. One thing I've realized is that you CANNOT do it wearing an over-the-ear headset; you can't hear if a child wakes up, cries, or even has coughing fits. There really isn't a great alternative on the PS4 (or the Xbox One / Wii U for that matter) that will give you chat functionality ...

Nintendo Titles you Don’t Want to Miss
We have had a wonderful relationship with Nintendo for well over a year now. They are great at answering questions, inviting us to events, and providing us with copies of games for review. Certain games are either free-to-play, meaning we don't need to wait for a review copy, or Nintendo simply doesn't have copies available for certain things.
