“Crazy” Announcement Coming to PlayStation Blog
Cory Barlog, director of God of War II and last known working at Crystal Dynamics, has said that there will be a “crazy” announcement coming to the PlayStation Blog tomorrow. Time differences being what they are, that basically means today!

Nothing else is said about the announcement, no hints as to what it entails or how crazy it might actually be, but given that this is linked to a personal Twitter account with only a few hundred followers, it’s safe to say Cory probably has little reason to hype things up too much. This may well be something big.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Cory left Crystal Dynamics in April, although there’s no information about where he went to after that. The announcement might have something to do with the recently announced Tomb Raider 2, and he just happens to have heard through the grapevine that the announcement is being made today, or it might be something to do with wherever he is working now. If the latter is true, it could be anything.
This is Cory’s real Twitter account, followed by several prominent members of the video game industry, so there’s definitely reason to watch this space. Try not to get too excited, but prepare yourself for the possibility of something quite cool.
