CRKD Announces the Nitro Deck 2
A new way to control your Nintendo Switch 2 has been announced with the Nitro Deck 2. We have the details below.
CRKD, a collectable brand, has announced that they are going to release the Nitro Deck 2 for the Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026. It is available for pre-order right now. It will cost $99.99 (USD) and there will be various accessories available for it. The deck itself includes Nitro Deck 2 Controller, Centrepiece, Legacy Adapter, Wired Mode Adapter, and a Charging Cable.
The new controllers will feature better joysticks than what is currently present on the system, promising no drift at all, plus there will be a regular D-pad too. The controllers can also be used for the original Switch, OLED, and mobile and PC devices too.
The Nitro Deck 2 looks pretty great. As soon as I saw it, I thought that would be perfect for playing games like the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection. I know that the current d-pad on the Switch 2 isn’t best for playing fighting games and the Nitro Deck 2 looks like it’ll be great for “finishing them’.
