Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Wheatflour Wonderland Thoughts

Hello Kitty Island Adventure was highly rated by us on Nintendo Switch when it came out. We enjoyed it a lot. And last week paid DLC came out for the game. We’ve played some of Wheatflour Wonderland. What do we think so far? Here’s our thoughts on Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s first paid DLC on Nintendo Switch.

I hadn’t been playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure much lately. I had just been checking in once and awhile with it. Then I heard that paid DLC was on the way. I had the money and it looked good, so I decided to get it. Here are my thoughts so far on Wheatflour Wonderland.

The new DLC for Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a lot bigger than you’d expect. The DLC only cost $14 and it provides a brand new area to explore, along with a new character to meet, new story, lots of new quests, items, bugs, and more. And now I’m addicted to Hello Kitty Island Adventure again.

I’ve been playing in the new DLC area as much as I can. You have to keep leveling up the new character’s friendship so you won’t be able to see a lot of the new stuff if you don’t have extra Friendship flowers. I had used up most of my flowers and so the process has been a bit slow, but in a way thats good because I’m not finishing up the DLC too fast. I did get some friendship flowers from the new character once and that helped.

The new character, I won’t spoil her name or what she’s looks like, is very cute and fun. She’s great addition to the game. Also the new area to explore is very nice. Its really different from the other areas. Its beautiful in fact. I’ve enjoying exploring it and finding out its secrets. I even found a new mini-game to play and there might be others. I also unlocked a new tool: the wand!

The wand has magic that can unlock new areas and I think it has the potential to do something else too, which I won’t spoil but I haven’t encountered that yet. Wands are a neat new tool for sure. I’m also really enjoying the new storyline.

A brand new story is introduced with the DLC that pulls in all of your friends from the main island and its interesting to see it evolve. The characters in this game are still so cute and fun. I like seeing them interact with the new character and new area.

I have also been playing a lot of the main game and new quests keep popping up as I get to know the original characters better. The combination of the DLC and the main character have made Hello Kitty Island Adventure a game that I want to play a lot of again. I’m enjoying this DLC so much. The whole game is so much better than you would think. If you love simulation games like Animal Crossing, then Hello Kitty Island Adventure and its new DLC will be a must play for you as it is for me.

I will continue to play this DLC and will write another article about it if I can. I can’t wait to find even more cool new things to do in this game!

Hello Kitty Island Adventure and its DLC: Wheatflour Wonderfland are available now on the Nintendo Switch eshop.
