Tales of Xillia Remastered Available for Pre-order

If you’ve been itching to revisit the world of Rieze Maxia—or maybe dive in for the first time—Bandai Namco has just dropped some exciting news: Tales of Xillia Remastered is officially available for digital pre-order, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 31, 2025.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Tales series or just love a good action RPG with heart, this remaster promises to deliver a polished, nostalgia-packed experience with modern upgrades.

At the heart of Tales of Xillia Remastered are two unforgettable protagonists: Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman guided by four elemental spirits, and Jude Mathis, a bright-eyed medical student from the capital. You’ll choose whose story to follow as their paths intertwine in a race to stop a mana-draining weapon threatening the balance of their world.

The remaster brings the vibrant world of Rieze Maxia to life with enhanced visuals and smoother gameplay. The Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System returns with a facelift—expect flashier combos, tighter controls, and new animations for signature moves like Milla’s Elemental Mastery and Jude’s Demonic Chaos.

Pre-orders come in two flavors: Standard and Digital Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition is loaded with goodies, including:

  • A digital artbook
  • An 81-track soundtrack
  • A Battle BGM Pack
  • A Super Growth Support Herb Set

And no matter which version you grab, you’ll get the Super Adventuring Assistance Set—a bundle of in-game support items to help you hit the ground running.

Originally released in 2011, Tales of Xillia was a fan favorite. The remastered edition doesn’t just slap on a fresh coat of paint—it adds smart updates like auto-save, early access to the Grade Shop, and bundled DLC content from the original release, including character costumes and bonus items.
