Nintendo Switch 2 Controller Repair Lightning Fast

My Controller Died, But Nintendo Performed a Resurrection

So, my Nintendo Switch 2 controller decided to break during an epic battle of Mario Party Superstars. The red controller thumb stick became loose and was hanging on for dear life.

Naturally, I turned to Nintendo for help, because blowing on it like it’s an NES cartridge didn’t work.

I immediately went to the Nintendo website to get information on a warranty claim. To my surprise it was so easy and straightforward to do. Once I filled in all my information, I was sent a shipping label free of charge.

Communication

Nintendo sent me regular updates like it was in therapy. “We’ve received your controller. It’s in repair. It’s shipping back.” It felt oddly comforting, like the controller was journaling its healing journey.

The Fix

The controller came back like it had been to a spa. No more broken thumb stick, buttons tight and responsive, and it worked like new.

The Price

Free of Charge! The best part.

Packaging

It came back in secure bubble wrap in under a few days I was really impressed at the speed.

Conclusion

Nintendo’s repair service is efficient, effective, and very fast. My controller came back better, stronger, and no longer unable to use. I was worried the turnaround would be long but that wasn’t the case at all. I am not saying to be competitive and rough with your controller but, don’t be afraid because support is on your side. My experience with the Nintendo Switch 2 so far has been great.  As always Nintendo brings us great exclusives. I am about to embark on Donkey Kong Bananza. I had the privilege of playing it at the Nintendo Switch 2 showcase in Toronto. Now I will be able to play the full game. Stay tuned for my thoughts on Donkey Kong Bananza.
