Caravan SandWitch is a game where you explore, find things, and sometimes solve puzzles. There is no combat in this game and its not a simulation game. Is this a game you should check out? Here’s our review of the game for Nintendo Switch!

When a friend goes missing, the main character of Caravan SandWitch leaves outer space and goes back to her home to town to seek her out. She ends up not only looking for her friend but helping her other friends and family too. Caravan SandWitch has a really good story and dialogue. The story is one of the most important aspects of the game. The other important aspect? Exploration.

There is no combat in Caravan SandWitch. The gameplay is focused on exploration which you do by foot and by vehicle. You have a van that you drive around in and get out of to walk to where you the vehicle won’t take you.

You can find a lot of things in this game. From components to upgrade your van, which you’ll be able to use to scan the environment for things, to puzzles and side quests, there’s a lot of fun to be had. You have no health bar either so you can jump off high places and survive no problem. Survival is not an issue in this game. Finding stuff and helping people is the order of the day.

And thankfully, walking around and especially the vehicle controls are pretty good. Thankfully though you don’t have to stay firmly on the road and if you do happen to get stuck, the game will ask you “Are you stuck? Want to go back to the garage?” and you can say yes or no. Unfortunately, the game only has an autosave, but its pretty good about leaving you right where you left off or close to it when you return to the main menu. We do wish there was a manual save.

Overall, its a pretty good game and the graphics look nice.

This is really good-looking game. The characters are slightly cel-shaded and the environments are a bit more realistic looking. It all looks great. The music and sound effects are good too.

If you’re looking for something different that lets you explore a unique interesting world full of objects, people, and puzzles than you should check Caravan SandWitch out. It’s a great game that dares to be different from the action-packed shooters and cozy simulation games. We highly recommend the experience.

Thanks to JF Games PR for providing a digital copy of this game for review. Caravan SandWitch is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
