You will now have the power to assign coaches to specific positions in your team, thus ensuring your players are developed in the correct way.
The Matchday Hub is more expansive, with pre-match reports, press conferences and dedicated training sessions bringing more realism to the game.
A Dynamic Moments feature has also been introduced, allowing you to enjoy events such as the Ballon D’or, Manager of the Year and Player of the Season Awards.
All Heroes
EA has revealed a plethora of new FUT Heroes are coming to the game including one who represents a landmark moment for the series.
Former Arsenal, England and Great Britain Women’s star Alex Scott will be the first-ever female Hero ever to feature in Ultimate Team.
Other notable additions include Wesley Sneijder, Gianluca Vialli Dimitar Berbatov, Rui Costa, Carlos Tevez and Vincent Kompany.
This pre-order bonus will be available on August 22 and includes a free Champions League Hero card item which will be supplied on November 27.
Cover Art
Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe was featured on the cover of the previous three FIFA editions, but he is nowhere to be seen on the latest game.
EA have gone down a different route this year, with the cover art including some of the biggest football stars from past and present.
Prolific Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is at the centre of the image, while Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham are among the other top stars featured.
Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, Pele and Johann Cruyff are some of the notable football icons who also appear on the EA FC 24 cover.
Women’s Football
While some narrow-minded people may baulk at the idea, EA’s decision to include women footballers in Ultimate Team is an important development.
The gaming community is supposed to be diverse – one where anyone can enjoy playing games and be welcomed regardless of gender or race.
With that in mind, EA FC 24 will allow gamers to build your team with men and women. Remember, this feature is not about realism – it is about assembling a dream squad.
And if the prospect of selecting female players does not appeal, you are under no pressure to do so. Thankfully, this works both ways!
