Steam Summer Sale is Live
It’s that time of the year again, everybody. Take out your wallets and spend, spend, spend.
The Steam Summer sale is now live, and although you’ll no doubt have problems getting onto the service for ten or fifteen minutes after 6, it’ll be more than worth the wait. There’s already been some odd problems all day, with images not loading and games disappearing entirely, so expect a bumpy ride with a fulfilling reward at the end.
As always, it’s important to follow a few key rules. Don’t ever buy anything if it’s not a daily deal until the very last day of the sale. If you do, there’s a chance the game will get even cheaper than it already is. Secondly, buy all your games as a gift, that way if you decide you don’t want to play them and your rush purchase was a mistake, you can trade it or sell it to others. You’ll also be able to add it to your library at any time by heading into your inventory, right clicking and hitting “Add to Library.”
We’ll update this post with today’s games as soon as we can, but for the time being, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
