More Thoughts From Me: Tis the Season For Video Game Updates

Recently, there’s been a lot of new sbout upcoming video game updates. Tis the season! Let’s talk about the upcoming updates for Mario Kart 8, Nintendo Switch Sports, and Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Nintendo Switch Sports will be getting an update on November 28th! It will add Golf to the game finally. Mario Kart 8’s booster pass will get its third wave of DLC on December 7th. The day before on December 6th we’ll see an update to Disney Dreamlight Valley! This update will add a Toy Story area where you can visit with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. You’ll be able to add them to your town too. Whew. That’s a lot of updates.

The update I’m most interested in the Disney Dreamlight Valley one. I’m still amazed that Woody and Buzz will be coming to the game. Its great how you’ll visit their room and be small like them. Though when they come to your town, you will be big again and they’ll be the size of Remy from Ratatouille! So cool.

The second update that interests me is the Mario Kart 8 DLC. If you’re a member of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass (I am), you’ll be able to download these levels for free. They look really amazing too! I especially like the Rainbow Road DS level but all of the levels are jaw dropping. You know, I still need to check out the levels from the second wave.

And yes, I’m interested in the Golf update for Nintendo Switch Sports. Although I’ll have to redownload that game and I play on the TV. Hmm. Time will tell if I do go back to Nintendo Switch Sports or not.

All of these updates are exciting though. Even Splatoon 3 had update news pretty recently. Nintendo didn’t have any big game this winter expect for Pokémon Scarlet/Violet but they are making up for it by providing lots of interesting update content. And Disney Dreamlight Valley is on its second update! I can’t wait to see what 2023 will bring to that game.
