Today’s Pokémon Presents video didn’t seem great at first. There were a lot of updates to the mobile/Switch spinoffs and then a small update for Brillant Diamond/Shining Pearl and a slightly bigger update for Pokémon Arceus. It seemed pretty disappointing…
And then!
A live action trailer started. I admit I thought it was Detective Pikachu 2 at first. They really had me fooled!
It turned out to be…Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet!
Wow! Brand new Pokémon games and they will be coming later in 2022. That was a big surprise. The game looks really good too. It looks to have somewhat of a tropical theme to it. Overall, it reminds me more of Sword/Shield than Diamond/Pearl or Arceus.
