Updates for Mario Golf Will be Key to the Games Success

With the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has been promoting and updating their games with both paid and free DLC more often than not. Mario Tennis Aces, the other Mario Sports title to release on the platform, received a ton of paid DLC content. And Mario Tennis has enjoyed a long life on the Nintendo Switch, with tons of folks still playing it today. So can Nintendo keep that up with Mario Golf: Super Rush?

During today’s Nintendo Direct during E3, the company announced that free updates would be coming to Mario Golf: Super Rush, which includes new courses! The direct video showed off Mario playing in New Donk City, which looks outstanding. While I assume this is a battle golf arena, it could be a real, wacky course! But what else would we want? Let me list them for you!

• Tournaments – I really hope that Nintendo will launch weekly or monthly golf tournaments for fans to take part in, and provide cool benefits for winning like outfits, trophies, and more.
• New Courses – I hope we will get more than just one new course. I want a ton of new courses, and lets do this over two years. Support the heck out of this game, please Nintendo!
• New Characters – there are characters from past games I would love to see make an appearance in Mario Golf: Super Rush including Birdo,. But with so many great characters across the Mushroom Kingdom, it would be disappointing not to see more of them join the golf team!
