More Thoughts From Me #246: Across The Metaverse
Recently when I was looking at the Nintendo Switch eshop, I noticed a very interesting looking game in the Coming Soon section. The game is called Metaverse Keeper and its from Circle Entertainment. I’ll tell you about it and why I think it might be one to keep an eye on.
Metaverse Keeper is dungeon crawler thats coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon. How soon? Its coming out this week! Metaverse Keeper will be out on November 12th!
Why is this game so interesting that I had to write a column about it?
Well, first of all, the graphics are look very cool. Metaverse has a neat cartoon-like quality to its graphics. It actually reminds me a bit of Gravity Falls (a cartoon I’m very obsessed with at the moment).
According to the eshop description, the game will have “randomly generated worlds”, customizable weapons, and you can play it in solo or co-op mode!
Here’s the official description of the game from the eshop:
“Five unique heroes, each with their own special skills, have been called upon by the mysterious government of the Metaverse.
Long ago, a great cataclysm shook reality and created the Metaverse and its Bastion – a vast and mysterious ship drifting across space-time. Our heroes will board the bastion with one goal in mind: uncover the secrets behind the cataclysm, stop the Boss, and bring balance back to the Metaverse.
Harness the power of space-time abilities -death becomes a minor setback as our heroes will return again and again until this great evil is defeated. But death has a cost; the chaotic nature of the Metaverse will change the Bastion itself, and no two attempts will ever be the same.”
The game really sounds and looks fun. It makes me think Death Road to Canada along with Gravity Falls!
Metaverse Keeper is a real standout in the Coming Soon section. It looks like it’ll have tons of replay value.
You just never know what you’ll find in the Coming Soons section of the Nintendo Switch eshop! Its always worth a look.
What do you think of Metaverse Keeper? Will you be picking it up on November 12th?
More Thoughts From Me is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed here are mine and mine alone. Now I have to go watch another episode of Gravity Falls!
