Namco Museum Archives Vols 1 and 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next week. We have a press release below about the games.
“SANTA CLARA, Calif., (June 11, 2020) – Leading video game publisher and developer, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. has announced that NAMCO MUSEUM® ARCHIVES Vols 1 and 2 will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM® On June 18, 2020 through digital storefronts.
Gathering NAMCO’s hits and long-lost treasure, each volume of NAMCO MUSEUM ARCHIVES features 10 historic 8-bit home console versions of arcade hits such as PAC-MAN and Galaga, as well as some classics that never made it to Western consoles including Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti and Dragon Buster II
In addition to those classics, both volumes include an exciting “new” title developed specifically for NAMCO MUSEUM ARCHIVES. Vol 1 includes an 8-bit reimagining of PAC-MAN Championship Edition, while Vol 2 adds an 8-bit home console version of Gaplus, the sequel to Galaga. These new titles as well as the mix of classic retro games are perfect for anyone looking to recapture days gone by or looking for new challenges.
