Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD Review-in-Progress Part 4

Before checking out this final review-in progress, please go check out part 1, part 2, and part 3. I’ve beaten Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD now. What do I think of the game?

I love Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD. The story hooked me from the start. Yes, there were confusing aspects, but I liked what I understood and most of all, the friendship of the main characaters carried the story through both the good and bad parts.

Add to that, wonderful voice acting and music, plus a neat battle system that improved massively later on, and fantastic graphics and you get one of the best Final Fantasy games in years.

FF15 had the right mix of great characters, exciting locations, cool plot twists, and nostalgia for this FF fan. The game is not perfect, it has some flaws which I detailed in part 3 of my review-in-progress, but none of those flaws kept me from enjoying the game. So what score would I give FF15 Pocket?

If I was just basing my review score on Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD’s gameplay, I would give this game a 7.5. Its a good game but the gameplay is not as great as the older FF games. However, since I’m basing my score on its gameplay, story, graphics, and sound, I have to give this game an 8.0. I really enjoyed this game.
