Soccer Slammers

Soccer Slammers is on Switch to celebrate the World Cup! Atooi are doing a lot of good games for the Nintendo Switch. They are working on bringing my favorite Atooi game, Chicken Wiggle, to the Nintendo Switch. I can’t wait to see that! And they brought Soccer Slammers to the Nintendo Switch yesterday. I got a review copy of the game and have had time to play it. What do I think of Soccer Slammers?

Soccer Slammers for the Nintendo Switch is an arcade style sports game. What does that mean? Basically it means that the game is fast, furious, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. And the game is landing at the right time as well, to coincide with the beginning of the 2018 FIFA World Cup!

The game has two modes: Quick Play and World Cup. With Quick Play, you can play up to 4 players. World Cup, meanwhile, lets you play from 1 to 2 players.

The controls on this game take a bit of getting use to if you are not a regular Soccer player. I think a tutorial for this game would’ve been great for newbies.

However, if you have a bunch of friends who really like Soccer and just want to have a quick bit of fun, then I think Soccer Slammers is the game for you. Its obvious that Soccer Slammers is a game that would work very well as a party game.

Oh and best of all: the graphics on this game are cute. The blocky Soccer characters and audience are perfect for this game!

Overall, this arcade soccer title is a good game. If you love soccer and have friends who do, give this one a download.
