Armikrog Brings A Unique Claymation Experience to Wii U Next Week

Armikrog is a game thats been in the back of my mind for awhile now. With no release date, I just had to put the game aside, but I never forgot about it! How can I not be interested in this game? How could anyone not be interested in it? Armikrog is a point & click game with unique Claymation/stop motion graphics! The game looks so neat and interesting. And the game is finally heading to the Wii U next week! We have the game’s release date and more information about the game below.

Armikrog will be coming to the Wii U eshop on August 23rd! That is a Tuesday, so yes the game is coming on a day when Wii U games don’t normally release on the eshop. I hope they will get a lot of attention though. The graphics and gameplay look like it’ll be one of the most unique experiences on the Wii U so far.

” Armikrog is a unique stop-motion, clay-animated, point-and-click adventure game from the creators of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood. Unravel the mysteries of the fortress that holds Tommynaut and his blind alien talking dog Beak-Beak captive through exploration and puzzle solving!

Loveable characters designed by Doug TenNapel, creator of the Earthworm Jim, and developed by creators of The Neverhood, Ed Schofield and Mike Dietz.

Rich cast of voice over talent brings Armikrog’s characters to life, including well-known actors Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Rob Paulsen (Pinky and the Brain) and Michael J. Nelson (Mystery Science Theater 3000).

Original soundtrack created and recorded by American singwriter and record producer Terry Scott Taylor. ”

From the creators of Earthworm Jim?! Plus voices from Pinky and the Brian AND Mystery Science Theater 3000! Wow. This game sounds fantastic. Will it live up to my hype? I have no idea. I really hope its a good though. The Wii U needs more original games like this!
