So apparently the much loved John Snow from Game of Thrones desperately wanted to be a villain in something, and that has come to pass. OK, we have no idea IF he begged for a villainous role, but none the less, Kit Harington will be playing a villain in the upcoming Call of Duty title, Infinite Warfare. Kit has been a pretty terrific part of the Game of Thrones series, and his voice does lend well to someone who could potentially play a baddie. Kit will make an excellent addition to the Call of Duty franchise; We wonder how much influence he will have on his characters progression!?
From Activision PR.
Kit is an amazing talent, and the consummate pro,” said Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director, Infinity Ward. “Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.”
Activision did not provide any details on what role Kit Harington will be playing in Call of Duty, so we will have to wait for an announcement down the road. Don’t be surprised, however, with the success of Game of Thrones, to see the company walk him out on stage during one of the many E3 press conferences next week.
