Phil Spencer Signed the Kingdom Hearts 360 Petition
You just know behind-the-scenes conversations must be odd when a major part of a company like Microsoft signs an online petition to bring the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 REmix HD Collection to 360. That’s exactly what’s happened. Phil Spencer took to Twitter today, replying to someone who linked him the Kingdom Hearts 360 petition we covered a few days ago, confirming that he signed it.
@junorock I signed the petition. Obviously Square’s to decide but I agree bringing them to XBOX would be great.

What more can you say really? There’s likely a great reason Square Enix aren’t bringing the Kingdom Hearts set to Xbox 360 – probably more to do with licencing than with the “JRPGs don’t sell” excuse – and if they felt they could make an easy buck, they’d have ported it and released it alongside the PlayStation 3 version. Still, it makes sense for the games to make the jump, it really does. With Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to Xbox One, Square Enix will need to decide how to tie together the franchise for those that have never played it.
From the petition:
These are loyal dedicated fans who are brave enough to let their opinions be known, and to show how much they are yearning for kingdom hearts HD 1.5 remix on Xbox 360. Like many fans we want to be able to play the saga from the beginning, before 3 comes out and would like to be able to play one of the best games ending this consoles generation and not miss out because we don’t have a certain platform.
As of writing, the petition has less that 2100 of its 27,000 signature aim.
