PS Mobile Expanding in Europe
If you live in the UK, the US, or some other “major” gaming country, it can be a little hard to believe that there are some places that are yet to get some of the things we take for granted. Take PlayStation Mobile, for instance, which Sony have today announced will be making its way to several new countries in mid-December.
If you live in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway or Sweden, you’ll be able to access the PlayStation Mobile service from 18th December this year. Mexico and New Zealand will also be added on that date.
PlayStation Mobile is a pretty handy service that allows you to play PlayStation certified titles on the go, either via your mobile phone or a PlayStation Vita. There are some great titles there for bargain basement prices (we especially recommend anything by FuturLab). If you’ve missed out so far, it’s definitely worth checking it out next month.
There’s no word on a time frame for any other countries being added and Sony are yet to reply to anybody asking about it. Still, for those that this affects, you’ll gain access to a wide range of mini-games. You may need to update your Vita on 18th December. Phone apps will just require a download from your respective store.
