Pokemon is one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises. There are a ton of Pokemon games and spinoffs coming out all the time. The newest Pokemon spinoff, currently in Japan, is Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Combination for the 3DS! Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Combination was released today (Feb. 3rd) in Japan for the 3DS. While there is no release date for North America yet, I would find it hard to believe that a Pokemon title wouldn’t…

Our Fate Is Almost Here: Fire Emblem Fates Footage & Thoughts
Fire Emblem Fates comes out on February 19th in North America. There has been much controversy lately on Nintendo’s editing on the two games. Lionel City Builder 3D: Rise of the Rails Review
In a desolate future, a man and his dog need your help. No, this isn’t Fallout 4. I’m talking about Lionel City Builder 3D: Rise of the Rails, a train simulation game released recently for the 3DS. LEGO Marvel Avengers Hits Retail
LEGO Marvel Avengers hit retail yesterday, both in physical and digital form. Our review code from Warner Bros. only arrive yesterday afternoon, so we will need more time before our review will be complete. Our early impressions, however, are outstanding. LEGO, Travelers Tales, and Warner Bros. seem to raise the bar with each subsequent LEGO release, and nothing has changed with the release of LEGO Marvel Avengers.

Opinionated Logan: Mario and Luigi – Paper Jam
My six year old son Logan loves video games, and is falling into step with his dad nicely in that regard. He likes Mario, he likes Animal Crossing, and he loves the odd family friendly game on my Xbox One. Last night, I found him curled up in his bed - after hours mind you - playing Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. Despite my frustrations with him A) sneaking my 3DS into his bed, and B) still being awake at 10:30 at night, I couldn't help but ask him what he thought.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Review
Paper Mario games are great, although have been trending downwards since the release of The Thousand Year Door on the GameCube. The last release, Sticker Star, was lackluster to say the least, borrowing heavily from the 2D Super Mario games heavily by removing the ‘open world’ and replacing it with Worlds and Levels, i.e. World 1-Level 1. On the other hand, Mario and Luigi games have always been strong titles, and even Dream Team – despite its various faults and pacing issues – was still an excellent release. I have to assume that Paper Mario fans were ...
