Paper Mario games are great, although have been trending downwards since the release of The Thousand Year Door on the GameCube. The last release, Sticker Star, was lackluster to say the least, borrowing heavily from the 2D Super Mario games heavily by removing the ‘open world’ and replacing it with Worlds and Levels, i.e. World 1-Level 1. Dying Light features the main character, Kyle Crane, who is an undercover agent sent to recover data for the GRE organization and Kyle Crane quickly realizes that something is wrong and things aren’t what they seem. He decides to help a group of survivors. Chaos then ensues, as it does in all zombie games with hordes of the walking dead roaming the streets. As we follow our group of survivors we grow with them in the story and really care about their progress making the majority of the events in Dying Light deep and impacting.

The Odd Gentlemen picked a great time to release Chapter 2 of their Kings Quest episodic series. Right before my Christmas holidays I received my review code from the PR Agency and dove right in. I could have written the review a few weeks ago, but decided to play through the second chapter a couple times for one main reason: choices.

We don't have enough mindlessly fun games on console anymore. It just doesn't exist. I'm going to get this out of the way early. The story in Just Cause 3 is not very good; it could have been way better! However, it is a catalyst for what the real joy is: mayhem and mass destruction. Most consumers will get more enjoyment out of liberation efforts than actually attempting to complete story missions. Between all the explosions and challenges, there is more than enough content to offset the weak story to make people buy this game. It is totally worth it.

A perfect game to play with a group of friends, the newly released Zombie Vikings is a visual treat that offers an exciting setting in which to beat the crap out of enemies (and your friends!). Originally sported on iOS then released on Android and now ported over to Xbox One, we have a very fun Angry Birds type game with Super Party Sports: Football. The game is quite fun and for the $4.99/£3.99 price tag it makes it an inexpensive way to enjoy a puzzle game like this.

If you ever played SteamWorld Dig, you know that developer Image and Form is not messing around. They take time to make their games, but they are damn fun! I have owned - and played - SteamWorld Dig on multiple platforms, and plan to do the same with SteamWorld Heist if it is as good as the previous title. I had my reservations, especially since I am not a big fan of turn based titles. All I can say is...wow. SteamWorld Heist is one of the best indie games I have played this year, and by far the best indie title I've played on a Nintendo platform.

I have done a number of shorter articles for Games Reviews on Fallout, and those will be combined here for a full scored review of the game. Fallout fans will find more to love with Fallout 4. It is not a huge advancement over Fallout 3, and the graphics are not what you would expect from a highly touted RPG. That being said, we still had lots of fun with Fallout here in our offices, and could easily recommend it to any RPG fan.

I've used high end headsets before, but none of them have been as user friendly as the Steel Series Siberia X800 headset. Through ease of use and outstanding audio quality, for over 300.00, you won't find a much better headset. There are no major aesthetic bells and whistles to this headset - like there are in many headsets from other companies - but with this release, Steel Series is pursuing functionality and comfort; they have succeeded.
