LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Feels the Force in April
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has a release date! The game is coming in April. Check out the new overview trailer below and then come back here for some thoughts on the game.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X on April 5th, 2022. This newest Lego Star Wars game covers all nine films in the Skywalker saga: from Phantom Menace all the way till Rise of Skywalker. And…the game looks amazing!
Skywalker Saga will see you playing as everyone from Boba Fett to Han Solo to Luke to Rey and Poe and…Jabba the Hutt?! I was laughing and amazed by that. There are over 300 characters to unlock! Wow! It looks like each character can be upgraded via skill trees to unlock new abilities (jedis can read and control minds!?) and you can find special weapons to use.
The game will also lets us visit all kinds of Star Wars planets, with a Star map to navigate between them. There are a lot of vehicles to control in the game too: the Millenium Falcon, X-wings, and more. There looks to be plenty of secrets and mini-games to find too. Whew. The amount of content in this game is stunning.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has the potential to be the best Lego and Star Wars game yet. What do you think of the new trailer? Will you be picking the game up in April?
