Gameloft has made a bold step bringing a traditionally iOS franchise over to the Nintendo Switch, and while Modern Combat Blackout is a port of a mobile title - which is both visually and controlably noticeable - there is still something fun and engaging about the game that kept me coming back for more. The LEGO Movie 2 was a fantastic experience when I went and saw it in theatres, and whenever there is a great cinema experience, there are high hopes for the LEGO game that spins off from that. LEGO titles over the last number of years have really been hit-and-miss, so jumping into any LEGO experience always has the potential for disappointment. The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame takes a much different route than other LEGO games based on movies, and while this isn't all bad, we felt the game ultimately shipped a few weeks - potentially months? - too early. A comic-styled indie puzzle game, Valiant Hearts: The Great War follows four characters who find themselves caught up in the middle of the First World War. The game is inspired by real events that occurred in Europe betweeen 1914 and 1918 as well as actual letters that were sent during the war.
