One of the titans of the turn-based shooter, XCOM 2, has made its way to the Nintendo Switch! Featuring all of the DLC and the War of the Chosen expansion, the XCOM 2 Collection offers the complete XCOM 2 experience on what is quickly becoming the most popular current-gen console, the Nintendo Switch. As a turn-based game that does not rely on latency, frame rate or even reflexes, it would seem to be a perfect pick-up and put-down game for the Switch. Not every game that is released on major consoles requires a port to the Nintendo Switch. While we fully support the expansion of gaming - and giving players on Nintendo Switch an opportunity to play games originally launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 - not every game ports well to the system. Summer in Mara was originally a crowd funded title - which we backed on Indigogo in Canada. The game is a play on the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons franchise, although probably resembles something like My Time at Portia from Team 17. Last week, the development teamed announced that people could play through the prologue on Steam. While we haven't done that yet - waiting on our Switch review opportunity, check in next week! - others have.
