More Thoughts From Me #258: An Immortal Demo

I’ve been wanting to play Immortals Fenyx Rising for awhile now. When I saw the first footage of it, I was blown away. The more I saw of this game, the cooler it looked. I just hadn’t had the chance to buy the game. I still haven’t. Thankfully Ubisoft released a demo of the game last week and I got to check it out! WOW. The Immortals Fenyx Rising demo is so good. Its just so good. First of all,…

In Heaven’s Vault for the Nintendo Switch, Aliya Elasra is an archaeologist in an sci-fi adventure game where a mysterious story take center stage. She is not Lara Croft, the action hero. Oneiros Impressions (XBox Series)

In Greek mythology, dreams were personified as Oneiros, something I didn’t know going into this game but now that I’ve completed it makes perfect sense. In Oneiros you play as Liam. Liam wakes up late just like any other day, but something just feels different. Doors to his room are locked, the laptop’s hacked, the phone’s broken, and something just doesn’t feel right. The place definitely looks like his room, but at the same time, it just doesn’t feel like…

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Not Just a Nintendo Cash Grab

A lot of folks are calling Nintendo's re-release of old games on the Nintendo Switch a cash grab, and while I understand the thought process, I disagree with the argument. While I'll be the first to admit that Nintendo does somehow trick us into buying old games again and again and again, the process by which they are re-launching Wii U titles on the Nintendo Switch doesn't fall into this category, and for one specific reason - sales numbers.

Redout: Space Assault

Do a barrel roll! If you’re missing Star Fox, then Redout: Space Assault will be a game you want to check out. Why? Let’s talk about that in this review of Redout: Space Assault for the Nintendo Switch! Redout: Space Assault will remind you of Star Fox. No, it doesn’t have talking animals in space but the game’s controls are a lot like Star Fox. You control your ships up, down, left, and right movement but not its forward movement…

More Thoughts From Me #257: The Switch’s Cloud Solution

I am a huge Nintendo Switch fan. I guess some people might even consider me a Nintendo fanboy. But even I realize that the Nintendo Switch isn’t the most powerful console out there. There are third party games that the system just can not handle. So what’s the solution? It looks like Nintendo and third parties think its the Cloud. Last year Control came to the Nintendo Switch via a streaming solution. The Cloud version of Control wasn’t the first…

Check out the trailer below for your first look at it and then please come back here for my thoughts on the latest addition to New Horizons. The Legend of Zelda 35th Anniversary Coming Up Soon

February 21st is not that far away, but it will mark the 35th anniversary of one of Nintendo's biggest franchises. When Mario hit the same milestone, fans were treated to new games - notably the All-star collection with Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy - tons of incredible merchandise from Puma, LEVI's, and more, and of course, exclusive items that could be earned by beating challenges, or purchased in the Nintendo store. It was an incredible year celebrating Mario, and here is hoping Zelda is just as big. So without further ado, ...
